I was talking to a friend of mine about scooter gymkhana and he was saying how he won’t jump a Vespa. Dirt bike? Sure! Vespa? No way. I wanted to prove to him it was no problem and then I ran into this video. Maybe the Canadian Scooter Corporation has convinced me that I’m wrong… and if not, I still thought their video was pretty cool.

On Sunday March 8th 2010 Jeremy Dean took his totally pimped out Hummer, entitled Futurama, out for a spin. Dean has pimped it out with silver chrome, working LED lights and a booming audio and video system. Even though the modded Hummer only gains 2 HP of forward momentum, it’s still tons better than the civilian mall-runner, tax right-offs usually driven by CEO wives. I like to see how it runs with the 8 HP upgrade! The Hummer is DEAD! LONG LIVE THE HUMMER!

I don’t pretend to know everything about every scooter, so you should forgive me when I say that I’ve never heard of the Crossrunner brand out of Alpharetta, Georgia. I doubt you have either, until NOW that is. I only ask that if you watch this video that you refrain from taking out your aggressions on us… we are ONLY the messengers. We will not be held responsible for nausea, vomiting, or accidental death due to the viewing of this video. This promo piece delicately walks the line between a meme and lame and then finally falls over like a drunk, 80 pound, freshman the midnight of his first frat party who later wakes up in a pool of what appears to be manicotti; his face deftly stenciled in a black Sharpie pirate motif . I was a Kiss fan in the early 80’s and I will probably end up riding one of these on my inevitable decent into Abaddon for posting this here.

Seems Alicia or someone in the Crossrunner camp didn’t appreciate the press, so the video was yanked off of Youtube. :( Sorry. I guess my teasing was a bit harsh. Now I feel bad. *Depressingly eats a whole container of B&J’s Coffee Heath Bar Crunch*

Ahhh, the trials and tribulations of being famous and riding a scooter. It’s all detailed here on this Letterman clip. Don’t know if you’ve seen it yet, but I thought “I Love You Man” was a pretty good flick… even though my wife accused me of bringing her because it featured a scooter scene, an accusation I still deny to this day.

And to think, I speculated that they put that beater Vespa LXV in there for giggles… you know the whole “No American men should ever ride two up on a two wheeled vehicle”? But, I wouldn’t be surprised if Jason had something to do with it.

If you’ve got the intestinal fortitude, you can watch the video of a lame arse TMZ reporter chasing down Jason as he climbs aboard his GTS. Save your coffee and donuts from jumping ship by at least turning off the volume. “Let’s go wild thing!” (Bwarf!)

As long as we’re talking about Vespa, I found this commercial that handles the well worn topic of “What if Hog rider meets Vespa” with a clean piece of videography. Doesn’t make it any fresher, but at least it’s pretty to look at. Enjoy!

It’s that time of year again… The Zombies rise from the graves to celebrate, pop a bottle of veintage and nibble on brain Pâté and crackers only to be hassled by that buzzing swarm of zombie-haters… at least that’s how their press release would describe it, but we really know it’s the time of the year where the SPAZZ SAVES THE WORLD!

Fueled only by petrol, pints and a predisposition for bashing in zombie heads, look for them on their zombie blood colored scoots and wearing the official SPAZZ patch on their jackets.

Scooters, more than meets the eye

Yes this scoop is more stale than a gingerbread man hiking in the Atacama desert, but that’s how much I’ve avoided anything dealing with Transformers II. This was one of many viral vids released on the web back before that movie polluted the screen.

This viral vid was done pretty well. Sorry it’s kinda late.

PS> They would have been better off taking that $200 milli and hiring MyWay Entertainment to release their Transformers (NSFW) as a feature length presentation or even the Juggernaut (NSFW). I’d pay to see that.
